Bottom Line invites you to learn more about our programs and be a part of our growth in Worcester! Join us at the 2nd Annual Get In, Graduate, and Go Far Reception to hear Worcester students speak about the obstacles they have overcome and to celebrate the strengthening of our community through higher education. With your support, Bottom Line can ensure that more Worcester students have the help they need to get in and stay in college.

Getting In Is Not Good Enough!

Getting In is Not Good Enough, Working to Keep Boston High School Graduates in College was a successful opportunity for community leaders and interested citizens to have a lively discussion about the importance of higher education and the challenges that Boston (and other disadvantaged) students face in making it to and through college. Panelists included Paul Grogan, President of the Boston Foundation, Superintendent Carol Johnson of the Boston Public Schools and Larry Bacow, President ot Tufts University.

4th Annual Get In, Graduate, Go Far Dinner
When: Thursday, March 19th, 2009, 6pm-9pm
Where: Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel
Our annual Get In, Graduate, Go Far Dinner has become one of the most inspiring nights on the Bottom Line calendar. A combination of amazing student stories and compelling community leaders make this a can't miss event. This year, more than 500 people attended and helped us raise nearly $400,000! Thank you to all of you who supported this event and made it successful.

Bottom Line's 6th Annual Winter Career Fair
When: January 6th, 2009
Where: Westin Copley Place Hotel
Bottom Line's Annual Career Fair is an opportunity for our college students to meet the region's employers who are looking for a diverse pool of talented potential employees. This year more than 250 students and 15 employers were on hand to recruit students for internships and full time positions. Volunteer HR representatives conducted more than 90 mock interviews and area corporations hosted information sessions to introduce their companies and jobs to Bottom Line students

Bottom Line's 2nd Annual Back to School Online Auction was a huge success and raised much needed funds to support our students as they headed back to school or off to college for the first time. Items auctioned included include sports tickets, hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates and much more. Get ready for Auction 2009!

3rd Annual Get In, Graduate, Go Far Dinner
When: Wednesday, March 19th
Bottom Line held its Third Annual Get In, Graduate and Go Far Dinner on Wednesday, March 19th at the Westin Copley Place Hotel. At the event three Bottom Line students were honored for their progress toward and through college. Event Chair Denise Kaigler of Nintendo and Co-Chair Charlie Baker of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care offered words of encouragement and Lt. Governor Tim Murray gave the keynote address. In all, almost 600 people attended and we raised more that $475,000 for Bottom Line's expansion efforts.
