After our students decide which college to attend, we continue to support those students who study at a select group of schools called our "Target Schools". For these students, our support will continue until a college degree is obtained (or 6 years passes). Counselors provide a wide range of guidance to students along the journey to a college degree. Mainly, we focus on clearing roadblocks that may crop up.

Our counselors help students make ideal choices and provide an intensive advising service to ensure they stay on track to graduate. Our Success Program Curriculum is designed around four sectors of support which we call D.E.A.L.


Degree

• Assess your credits to make sure you're on track
• Interpret your syllabi to succeed in each class
• Identify and use strategies to improve performance
• Connect with tutoring, advising, and other resources

Employment

• Find a career path that fits your interest and skills
• Secure summer internships and part-time jobs
• Write and update your resume and cover letter
• Connect with Bottom Line-specific internships
• Build a unique professional "brand"

Aid

• Renew scholarship and financial aid applications
• Figure out how to pay your balance
• Resolve problems with your bill
• Assess your debt
• Make smart financial decisions

Life

• Send cards and care packages during each semester
• Make monthly on-campus visits; call and email often
• Be there to listen when you need it
• Challenge you to work hard and achieve your goals
• Help you solve problems whenever we can
